A Word about Deadlines

If you have been injured, it is important to have a personal injury lawyer in Oregon or Washington evaluate potential personal injury claims as soon as possible after the injury occurs. The law provides strict deadlines for filing personal injury, insurance and wrongful death claims. Drunk driver and public entity claims often involve deadlines of 180 days. A Washington or Oregon personal injury lawyer at our firm can provide a free consultation to discuss your legal rights.

Richard Vangelisti is licensed in Oregon and Washington, and his practice includes personal injury and wrongful death cases, including products liability, physical and sex abuse, premises liability, and vehicle / bicycle / pedestrian collision cases.

Court Pilots Expedited Trials in Portland

The Multnomah County Circuit Court is now making expedited trials available in civil cases.  The option appears best-suited to cases requiring limited discovery.  See the media release which includes references to resources, and other documents on the Multnomah Bar Association's web site: the program description, an expedited civil jury trial motion, order and outline of what to expect at the first case management conference of an expedited case.
